TL;DR
CRI delivered a three-day capacity building program in Uganda for 46 public officials. The training focused on using National Parameters and Commodity Specific Conversion Factors (CSCFs) software to appraise Public Sector Investment Projects (PSIPs) and Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs), aiming to enhance project appraisal efficiency.

CRI conducted a three-day training program in Uganda between the 22nd and 24th of August, 2018. The main aim of this training program was to introduce and familiarize the participants with the use of National Parameters and Commodity Specific Conversion Factors (CSCFs) in the appraisal of Public Sector Investment Projects (PSIPs), as well as Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs). The program's content which consisted of both theoretical and practical components was purposely crafted to equip the public officials of the Government of the Republic of Uganda with knowledge as well as transferable skills essential in using and applying the National Parameters Software developed by CRI for Uganda. 46 participants from various Ministries, Line Ministries, Agencies and Parastatals participated in the training program and the majority of them reported that the National Parameters and CSCFs software was; easy to access, user friendly and made the appraisal process much faster.
