The project involves the assessment and development of a climate-smart public investment management framework. This includes the development of a bespoke methodology for incorporating climate change consideration into every stage of project development, including climate risk screening, climate risk assessment and methodology for estimating the costs and benefits of climate change-related disasters. The project culminated in the development of a customized climate-smart PIM framework, sector-specific climate-smart project appraisal and development manuals, policy notes for incorporating climate change considerations into state-owned enterprises, and the development and delivery of capacity building to stakeholders.
