Over a ten-month period (between 2015 and 2016), CRI developed a bespoke system for the prioritization of Public Investment Projects (PIPs) for the Republic of Vietnam. A prioritization methodology was formulated to rank PIPs prior to their approval and inclusion in the budget. In addition, CRI also developed project appraisal and project prioritization manuals that included the relevant forms and templates for use by government officials in their public investment management processes. At the completion of the project, CRI piloted the water supply and road construction manuals in selected provinces in Vietnam.
