CRI estimated Uganda's national parameters, including the Economic Opportunity Cost of Capital, Foreign Exchange Premium, and Premium for Non-Trade Commodities. A web-based database was developed to provide easy access to these parameters and conversion factors for over 5000 commodities.

The Government of Uganda contracted CRI through the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development, to estimate the country's national parameters. Using its expertise and experience in this field, CRI computed the Economic Opportunity Cost of Capital (EOCK), the Foreign Exchange Premium (FEP), and the Premium for Non-Trade Commodities (NTP) for Uganda. This project also included the estimation of the economic prices and Commodity Specific Conversion Factors (CSCFs) for over 5000 tradable commodities and ten non-tradable commodities.

A web-based database software was also developed to facilitate easy access to the national parameters, economic prices and conversion factors by project analysts and other stakeholders. The Ugandan National Parameters and Conversion Factors database is available online at http://national-parameters.ug
