Dr. Hatice Jenkins is a Development Finance Expert at Cambridge Resources International (CRI) Inc. Her fields of expertise are bank risk management, credit analysis and lending, small business finance, microfinance, and SME banking. She has over twenty-five years of consulting experience and has worked with a number of international organizations such as the Asian Development Bank, UNIDO, UNDP and USAID on developmental finance issues.
Dr. Jenkins is the Director of the Program on Financial Institutions for Private Enterprise Growth (FIPEG) and a Senior Fellow of the John Deutsch International Executive Programs in the Department of Queen’s University Canada. She is also a Professor of Finance in the Department of Banking and Finance at Eastern Mediterranean University, North Cyprus. Dr. Jenkins has facilitated capacity building programs in Cyprus, Egypt, France, Kenya, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Mexico, Nigeria, Turkey, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, and Sri Lanka; on a host of finance- related issues.
Dr. Jenkins holds a B.Sc. in Management from Middle East Technical University, Turkey, an M.Sc. in Economic Development from the University of Keele, UK, and a Ph.D. in Development Finance from the University of Bradford, UK.
