Mikhail Miklyaev has extensive experience in Investment Analysis, Financial Modelling, Economic and Stakeholder Analysis, Risk Analysis, Project Finance, Public Investment Management, Fiscal Analysis, and Project Management. Mr. Miklyaev holds a professional certificate in Investment Appraisal and Risk analysis, and Project Management from Queens University, Canada. For the past four years he has been focused on the appraisal of USAID and World Bank funded investments in agriculture, power, and industries. He has been involved as a full time lecturer in 9 training programs conducted for the government officials, USAID officials and private participants in Africa, Asia, and Canada. Mr. Miklyaev is also well familiar with the on-the-job problems faced by the governments of developing countries in the area of Public Investment Management. He has been recently working in assessment of PIM systems of Kazakhstan, Vietnam and Zimbabwe. He is currently a member of the team advising the government of Vietnam on the approach to introduce Cost-Benefit analysis as a decision making tool when considering public investment projects and PPPs.
